What makes ALP unique?

We are a local family owned & operated business operating with integrity. We started with a true passion for the fireworks industry - that has now carried over into our daily business. We have established direct relationships with most of the Northern Colorado fire authorities. Pride is taken in our perfect safety record and we will never introduce unnecessary risks into our shows. Detailed planning and research goes into each show to make it one of a kind and unique, no 2 shows are the same. Our shows implement unique effects never before seen and extra time is taken for spectacular choreography. These are just a "few" of the reasons we are the best company in Northern Colorado!

Are permits required to have fireworks shows?

Yes, fireworks or any special effects require permits. However, we will take care of all details for you according to current laws and regulations.

How much "lead time" is needed to plan a show?

3 months is preferred. No one wants to rush safety!

Is smoke a problem for indoor shows?

No, we will plan for your specific environment (room). Including, assessing the surroundings so everything will go smoothly. Additionally, different chemicals/powders are used for indoor shows to reduce smoke given off by the effects.

Can you do shows during a drought/Fire Ban?

Yes, we are not affected by state fire bans if Local Authority's permits are granted. Common sense may say otherwise so we will assess the situation accordingly!

Can you do shows in the winter and is snow an issue?

Yes! They are some of the most dramatic shows we do. Due to the reflective quality of snow light is reflected differently. Also, during the colder seasons atmospheric conditions are clearer so shows look incredible.

No, snow isn't an issue for us, but you might want a faster show for your crowd. The sound is even different due to the softening effects of the snow. Bundle up!

Can you do shows during the day?

Yes, we have great bright, loud and colorful effects for daytime use. Call early.

Can you time a fireworks show to music?

Yes, we can choreograph millisecond timing to any musical arrangement. Ask about our past Pyromusical productions.

Do you have to dig up ground or grass for a show?

No, we provide an exclusive above ground rack system for our shells. You'll hardly know we were there.

Can you make smiley faces or other shapes in the sky?

Yes, however as these are very popular, we need to order them as early as possible in the planning stages.

What are the big, loud, flash bombs that always shake the ground?

They are called salutes. They are very popular and a sure way to draw attention to any show!

How long is your setup?

We need a minimum of 6 hours to cover all safety aspects.

How long are your shows?

As long as you need or want. Your show can range from a 1/2 second special effect to a full hour or more.

Does the sponsor have to have special insurance?

Not usually, because we have the best pyrotechnic insurance company in the world and the price is included in your show.

How much does it typically cost?

It really depends on your location and time requirements. We can do almost all budgets. From backyard shows to citywide celebrations, tell us your budgeted amount and we will give you the "Biggest Bang for the Buck".

Do you clean up after your shows?

Yes, for safety we look for any "dud" products that may have misfired. One search is done immediately after the show and another search at first light the next day. During these searches we pick up any debris leftover from the show. We do all of the work so you can sit back and enjoy the show.
